✦ One of a kind item

A handmade ceramic dish designed for baking and serving warm brie at the table. Wheel-thrown in our studio with a unique pulled handle and finished with food-safe cone-6 glazes, each piece is sized for a standard round of brie or camembert and moves easily from oven to table. When hot, we recommend resting the dish on a cloth surface or pot-mat. Subtle variations in form and surface reflect the character of the handmade process.

Quick Baked Brie Recipe:

Place cheese in baker, add one rounded spoonful of brown sugar to top. Drizzle with honey, sprinkle with chopped nuts, dried fruit, figs... and place in slightly warmed oven. Bake at 350 for 10 to 20 minutes. Spread on favorite crackers or toasted bread. Enjoy!

Note: Serving example and maker’s mark images are shown for reference. Subtle variations are part of the handmade process.

Care, Use & Process

Each piece in the Potter’s Kitchen Collection is handmade in our studio using a combination of wheel-thrown and hand-cast methods. All glazes are food-safe and fired in an oxidation kiln to cone 6 for strength and durability.

These forms are designed for everyday use in the kitchen and are generally safe for the dishwasher and microwave. Subtle variations in shape, surface, and glaze are part of the handmade process and make each piece one of a kind.

Handmade pottery prefers gradual temperature changes. When removing hot pieces from the oven, rest them on a board, cloth, or trivet rather than directly on a cool surface.

Shipping & Handling

Each piece is carefully packed by hand in our studio using protective materials suitable for fragile ceramics. Shipping within the United States is included in the listed price.

Orders typically ship within a few business days. If a piece arrives damaged in transit, please contact us and we will make it right.

Potter's Kitchen

Michelle and Mike are potters who love to cook—and The Potter’s Kitchen Collection is where those two worlds meet. Inspired by the colors and textures of the season—eg., fresh garlic, berries, wild leeks, and fiddleheads—we focus our clay work on pieces made to live in the kitchen and come to the table often.

The collection includes handmade berry bowls and colanders, batter and mixing bowls, plates, spoon rests, salt cellars, garlic keepers, pasta bowl sets, and mugs—plus a small dash of our decorative favorites. Every piece is made by hand (wheel-thrown and hand-cast) and finished in food-safe glazes, fired to cone 6 in oxidation.

We're working on building inventory, so keep an eye on our website for current offerings as new work comes out of the studio.
