A small object for a living thing.
These handmade ceramic air plant holders are mini sculptural pieces—wheel-thrown or hand-built—made to sit quietly on a shelf, desk, or tabletop. Each holder is kiln-fired either in oxidation or raku, creating natural variation in tone and surface that makes every piece one of a kind. Sized to cradle one to three air plants (Tillandsia), they turn a simple plant into a grounded, tactile presence—no soil required, just air, light, and form.

Care, Use & Process
Care, Use & Process
These small sculptural holders are designed for displaying air plants (Tillandsia). Each piece is handmade in our studio using wheel-thrown or hand-built stoneware and finished with a variety of firing methods including oxidation and raku. Variations in form and surface are part of the handmade process.
Air plants require bright, indirect light and periodic watering. Most varieties benefit from occasional misting or a short soak every 7–10 days, depending on humidity. Allow the plant to dry fully before returning it to the holder.
Because air plants prefer good air circulation, avoid allowing water to collect in the ceramic holder. Raku-fired pieces are porous and should not be used to hold water.
